Spirit Of Rebellion is a old school death metal that comes out of Canada's sceene and has been activie since 2001.This is my first time hearing the band so i can't compare it to previous releases but Transcendent Chaos is a really good release that mixes old school death metal with some memorable musicial passages.The guitars are played with some fast guitar patterns that are well delievered.The guitarist does slow to a mid paced range in some of the songs and adds some well played and performed solo's and memorable guitar passages.The drums are equally as well executed with a mix of fast,blasting drums and some slower more controlled drums.The drummer does perform some extremely well played drum passages.The vocals are death metal metal growls that are powerful.This is a solid release that all fans of quality death metal will like so check them out soon.
