Canada's Phobocosm return with their fourth full length release.Gateway.The new release is seven songs of heavy,dark death metal that is executed with precision song writing and playing.The guitars are done with some heavy mid paced guitars that are performed with powerful patterns.The guitars do speed to a much faster pace throughout some of the songs and performed with some memorable passages and solo's.The drumming is a mix of heavy,crushing mid paced drums but like the guitarists.The drummer does speed to a faster more intense pace with some well executed drum patterns.The vocals are death metal growls that are done with powerful vocals.Gateway is a great release of quality death metal that is dark and powerful in the bands delievery.
