Castrator is a four person band coming out of New York's death metal scene and this is a review of the new release.Coronation Of The Grotesque is the bands second full length that is crushing and extreme death metal in every way.The guitars are played with fast and furious guitar patterns that are played with skill and talented writing.The guitarist does write and perform some memorable passages adding in some slwer mid paced guitars.The drums are equally as devestating with chaotic and fast drumming parts.The drummer does write and performs some memorable drums that are brutal and heavy in the delievery.The vocals are brutal old school death metal growls that are powerful in their delievery.If you are a fan of original sounding old school death metal then be sure to pick up a copy of Coronation Of The Grotesque when it is released.
