Demonic Rage is a band that comes out of Chile's old school bestial death metal scene and this is a review of their latest EP.Desecration Rites is six tracks of raw and primitive death metal that is played with skillful writing.The guitars are a mix of fast and aggressive patterns and some mid paced passages are also used throughout the recording.The guitarist does write some memorable mid paced guitar parts and adds some solo's throughout the recording.The drums are played in the same style with some extremly fast and chaotic patterns that are brutal and fast.The drummer does slow to a more calm mid paced range with some extremly well delievered and played drum passages.The vocals are raw death metal growls that are powerful in the delievery.Their are also some gruff,raw screams that are also used in a few of the songs.If you are a fan of obscure,raw and primitive death metal then be sure to check out Demonic Rage today.
