Postmortal is a duo who comes out of Poland's funeral doom scene and this is a review of the debut full length.Profundis Omnis contains six tracks of extremely slow and dreadful funeral doom hymns.The guitars are heavy and slow with some crushing riffs.The drums are powerful with slow,crushing drum beats.The vocals are death metal growls that are powerful in the delievery and just as haunting as the music.Their are some female vocals used in one of the songs but they add another layer to the destructive music.Profundis Omnis will not win any awards for being too original but the music that is presented here is extremely slow,bleak,funeral death,doom metal.
