Coming out of Dallas Texas is Morgue Meat that plays a brutal death metal style that is done with great song writing ability.Apocalyptic Visions is the second full length featuring nine tracks of uncomprimising brutality at it's finest.The guitars are played with a skill with both some extremly fast paced guitars and some heavier mid paced passages.The guitarist does a great job of performing both the fast and mid paced.The guitarist does write some memorable guitar patterns and some really well executed solo's through the release.The drumming is done with some extremly fast and chaotic drum passages.The drummer does slow to a heavier mid paced range with some crushing mid paced drums as well as the more chaotic fast drumming.The vocals are deep death metal growls that are intense in their delievery.Their are also some raw screams that are used in some of the songs that fit the music.Morgue Meat is a new band to my ears but i hope to hear more releases in the future.If you are a fan brutal,vicious death metal then do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of Apocalyptic Visions today you won't be disapointed.
