Rot Of The Soul is the debut full length from Angmodnes who come out of The Netherland's funeral doom scene.The debut contains five songs of that are filled with Dread and aguish.The guitars are done with crushing slow and heavy passages.The guitarist does incorporate some atmospheric parts entertwined within the music for an extra layer to the bands sound.The vocals are death metal growls that are done with powerful vocals that are delievered with despair.Their are some very well sung clean vocal passages that are equally as good.Rot Of The Soul is a masterpiece of bleak and sorrow filled funeral doom metal.
