Nathen Ehli is the master mind behind Hisemtuks Himi.N who plays a very creative and crafted debut release.Wendigo is nine tracks of melodic black metal that has some very well played atmosphere and progressive elements mixed into the music. The guitars are played with both a ferocious fast pace that are played with intensity and skillful writing.Their are some slower more controlled progressive style with some faster black metal guitar passages.The vocals are a mix of raw raspy black metal screams and some deeper,gruff growls both vocaal styles fit the music perfectly.This is a great debut release that combines cold,traditional black metal with a healthy dose of atmosphere and melodic passages throughout the songs.
