Genocide Kommando is a duo that comes out of France's barbaric and bestial black metal scene and this is a review of their third full length.Third World War is ten tracks of brutal and savage black metal that is not for meant for those who love polished or atmospheric passages mixed into their black metal.The guitars are fast and furious with insanely fast passages.Even though the guitars are played at whirlwind speeds their are some well played patterns.The vocals are a mix of black metal screams and screeches and in a few of the songs some deeper death metal growls are used.The drumming is a brutal assault of blasting drums that will pummel the listener.Genocide Kommando has crafted a great release of brutal black war metal that should please fans of this style.
