Ov Shadows--I Djavulens Avbild cd{Hypnotic Dirge Rec.}
Coming out of Sweden's black metal scene is Ov Shadows with their second full-length release.I Djavulens Avbild contains seven songs of aggressive and furious black metal with some atmospheric elements used in a few of the songs.The music is played with a a nice mixture of chaotic and fast guitars and drums and some slower mid paced passages.
The vocals are grim black metal screeches and screams that are done with alot of power and fit the bands style perfectly.
I Djavulens Avbild is a great release of quality black metal that plays a mix of atmospheric and crazed black metal intensity.
