Retching is a duo who comes out of Rhode Island's death metal scene. Charming The Decomposed is the debut featuring eight songs of well played and delievered brutal old school death metal.The guitars are a mix of fast paced passages that are played with intensity.The guitars do slow to a heavier mid paced style in some of the songs.The guitarist does write and perform some well played solo's and patterns.The vocals are brutal death metal growls that are powerful in the delievery.The drums are done with fast paced drum passages.The drums do slow to add some heavier mid paced drum patterns into the songs.Charming The Decomposed should please fans of early to mid 90's death metal so defintly pick up a copy today if your into pure death metal.
