Coming out of the Philippines black metal scene is Iskariot and this is a review of the latest demo.Promo 2026 is the bands third demo featuring five tracks of violent and straight forward black metal.The guitars are mainly played with fast and aggressive guitar patterns.The guitars are played with intensity but the guitarist does know how to play some well performed patterns and solo's.The drums are chaotic and brutal in the delievery.The drums are a mix of crazed blasting drums and some heavier mid paced drums are also used.The vocals raw brutal growls and some raw black metal screams.This is my first encounter with Iskariot but they perform some well executed brutal old school black metal with elements of war metal mixed into a few of the songs.
