Summoning Hellgates is a duo coming of Spain's bestial black and death metal scene and this is a review of the debut MLP Spear Of Conquest.The debut is six tracks of vicious and relentless metal.The guitars are played with a whirlind of furious guitar patterns that are extremely fast paced.The guitars do slow to mid paced range in a few of the songs but not for long.The drums are extremely fast and chaotic blasting drum passages.Both the guitars and drums are played with skill.The vocals are raw gruff growls and screams that fit the musicial style perfectly.Spear Of Conquest is a devestating onslaught of black and death metal that will please fans of this genre so pick it up today.
