Deteriorot is back to unleash another great release of Old school Death Metal.Awakening is the bands fourth full length with twelve tracks of heavy,pounding death metal.The guitars are played with a mix of heavy mid paced patterns.The guitars do speed to a much faster pace throughout the songs.The guitarist does write some memorable passages and performs some well played solo's throughout the songs.The drumming is top notch with some really well played patterns,The drummer does a nice mix of heavy pounding drums and some faster more chaotic drum passages.The vocals are done with powerful death metal growls that fit the bands music perfectly.If you are a fan of Deteriorot past releases defintly add this one to your collection,And if you have never heard the band but enjoy quality well performed old school death metal pick this one up you will not bedisapointed.
