Semjaza is a band coming out of Mexico's black metal scene with their debut EP.Starting off with a dark and eerie intro that sets the mood.Musically the band performs fierce old school black metal at it's finest.The guitars are played with a mix of fast and aggressive guitar patterns.But their are some very well written mid paced guitar parts to give the songs a nice mix.The drums are presented in the same vein with fast paced drum parts and a some slower more mid paced drums.The vocals are demonic old school gruff growls and screams.The Fire That Burns Within is a good debut EP. all those who enjoy old school black metal should check this band out today.
