Coming out of Colombia's black metal scene is Korkvak with their debut EP.The EP. is just a taste of what will be on the full length debut due out later this year.Starting off with a intro of somber and errie music and some screams.The first song is Renacer Which is a nine minute journey of atmospheric and epic black metal that is very well crafted.Each instrument is played with alot of skill and talent.The vocals are traditional black metal screams that are delievered with powerful vocal passages.Korkvak is the next song with a masterful sound starting off with a faster guitar pattern and some grim screams.The music is rooted in the 90's style of atmospheric black metal and was created with alot of good ideas.
