1.Hello please introduce yourselves to the readers?

Ans : Greetings ghouls! We are Chronicles,five men occult death metal crafters from the angry land of Bengal.

2.At what age did you discover death metal music and metal in general?Who were the first bands and artists you listened to?Who are some of the current bands that have caught your attention?

Ans : All of us averagely discovered metal/death metal music at the age 16-18. Its not like we found death metal right from the beginning. First bands that we have listened at that time were probably Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Pantera etc. Once we've started exploring more metal music, the exploration led us to death metal. Death, Possessed, Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Deicide, Grave, Entombed, Unleashed these were the bands that we had discovered first at that time.

There are lots of good death metal bands right now in the whole world. Some of the current bands that have caught our attention are Perversor, Bestial Mockery, Repugnant, Degial etc.

3.When did you first meet each other and was it long before you started Chronicles? How did you all choose Chronicles as the name of the band?

Ans : As we were early friends, so gradually it turned into jamming and performing music together.

Even though we are a death metal band, we wanted a simple word that would be connected to the links of more vast segment that would be death metal which led us name the band "Chronicles".

4.What is the current line-up of the band?Who would you say are the bands biggest influences? For the readers unfamiliar with Chronicles how would you best describe the bands musical style?

Ans : The current line up is Kafi on vocals, Nihan and Billah on guitars, Shobdo on bass and Jim on drums. After the formation of Chronicles, only one member was changed as our ex vocal Omi left the band after our EP release in 2019. Then Kafi joined as the vocal in 2020.

The bands biggest influences are mostly 90's death metal, death/thrash bands. For example : Morbid Angel, Merciless, Convulse, Necrophobic.

There's a band from our local scene which is surely a big influence for us, death/thrash masters Orator.

Without the usual obsession with stylized sound and derivative trendiness it is the occultist death quintet’s that offers you tangible death metal from a dark place haunted by your most inner horrors.

5.Chaos Cosmogony is the bands newest EP. which will be released through Helldprod Rec. when did you all first come in contact with this label?

Ans : Chaos Cosmogony is our second demo release. This demo has been released from Helldprod Rec. from Portugal in limited Cassette Edition and also Digitally on Bandcamp.

We were looking for record labels to release this demo, we were emailing our songs. It was Kafi who found Helldprod and he approached them. After listening the songs they took us on their unholy roster.

6.How long did it take to write the music for the new release?Does the whole band take part in the writing process or does one member usually write everything?

Ans : We started writing music for the new demo from the beginning 2021. The whole band usually takes part in the writing process. If one of us is thinking about writing a song we immediately share it with the others. And then all of us contributes for the whole writing process.

The compositions mostly comes out of Nihan, Billah and Shobdo.

7.Who usually handles writing the lyrics for the music and what are some subjects written about on the new EP.? Which usually comes first the music or the lyrics?

Ans : The lyrics are mostly written by Kafi and Nihan. The lyrics for this new demo is also written by them. The subjects written about on this demo is exactly what we have entitled the demo "Chaos Cosmogony".

At the beginning there was only Chaos, Night, Darkness , and deep Abyss.

Earth, the air and neither world had no existence.

Chaos refers to the void state preceding the creation of the universe or cosmos.

Chaos the formless matter supposed to have existed before the creation of the universe.

Cosmogony is any primordial concept concerning the origin of either the cosmos or the universe.

The expanse of air, the nether abyss or infinite darkness.

After the Zoroastrian themed demo "ASTŌDĀN", Kafi and Nihan both were researching about various stuffs. The intention was to create a dark arcane themed, abysm spiraling death metal.

And we think we were able pull that up.

As we are always talking about lyrics and stuffs and writing songs at the same time, we think our music and lyrics works in a parallel way.

8.Besides the Chaos Cosmogony release are the bands previous releases still available?Besides physical releases does the band have any other merchandise currently available if yes what is available and where can the readers buy it?

Ans : Our debut Ep WarMachine and first demo ASTŌDĀN were both physically released only in Bangladesh. Later on 2021, ASTŌDĀN was released globally by Famine Records (USA) in limited Cassettes Edition. You can find them on their website and Bandcamp.We haven't released any merchandise globally but we have released merchandise in Bangladesh.Our official merchandiser in Bangladesh "Heavy Metal T-shirts".Our merch is still available in the store. It would be great if they could ship merch to overseas.

9.What does Underground Metal mean to you?

Ans : Underground Metal is a form of art that is free from any shackle. Raw and purest form of music without any boundaries.

10.Chronicles comes out of Bangladesh's old school death metal scene what is your opinion of the metal scene in Bangladesh?

Ans : The metal scene in Bangladesh is not fully enriched like any other countries but there are sure some top notch metal bands who have shown their might worldwide.

We think that Bangladesh metal scene is gradually growing. New bands are being formed, underground gigs are being held by various organizations.

11.Who are your all-time favorite bands coming out of Bangladesh and are their any new bands you could recomend to the readers?

Ans : All time favorite bands coming out of Bangladesh would be Orator, Severe Dementia, Warhound, Morbidity, Homicide.

Bands to recommend the readers would be Nekrohowl, Kaal Akuma, Invochaos. You guys can definitely dig them out.

12.When you need to take a break from working on new music or band business what do you like to do in your free time?

Ans : When we need to take a break we usually split up and go for a quick tour. Sometimes everyone is on their own. We love to go to mountains for camping. Basically we go to any place with more nature in it and that actually helps refresh our mind.

13.Besides working in Chronicles do any of the members currently work with any other bands or solo projects? If yes please tell the readers a little about them?

Ans : No!!!!!!!!

Bludgeoned--Summary Execution cd,cassette{Vile Tapes} done on 1-27-22

1.Hails Chuck please introduce yourself to the readers?

Eternal Hails!!! My name is Chuck. I own and run BLASPHEMOUS CREATIONS OF HELL RECORDS.

2.You run the Black Metal label Blasphemous Creations Of Hell Records what gave you the idea to start this label?

I have been wanting to start a label for a long time but didn’t have the money to do so until about 4 years ago when I started it. I got a hold of a few contacts and they helped me get it started.

3.What are some releases that are currently out and what are some of the 2022 releases the readers can look out for?

As of right now there are 38 releases that are out. APHELION/ENSARCOSIS DEMONICA/ATER/APHELION/ZWETWEZEN/KVLT OF ODIUM/HOWLING/ASMODAEN BLOOD COVEN/TILL/VALEFAR/PRIMORDIAL SERPENT to name a few. Plague Demon Records and I have just released BLASPHEMOUS PLAGUES OF THE UNDERGROUND VOLUME #1 (2 Disks) Compilation CD. It contains 27 unreleased tracks not on any other release from the bands under our labels. Right now we are working on HISEMTUKS HIMI.N second release and ISATAII second release. Here are a few more bands we have lined up: Sisters Memon/Gorguina/Lungor/Amras Numenesse/Apocalyptic Leaders and Nebulous of Blood.

4.Chuck you started a radio show towards the end of 2021 when did you first get the idea to start up this show?

Honestly I never had the idea of doing a radio show. Tom Nando who runs THE METAL LAB out of England was doing a Battle Of The Bands and the band Howling who I released there first EP called "The Aesthetics Of Rot" won the battle. The prize was a 15 minute interview and a few songs played on air from France The Planet on Burg Studios. After that Tom contacted me and Namtar Axarcuth from Plague Demon Records and asked if we were interested in doing a black metal radio show. France The Planet from Burg Studios wanted a black metal segment. I said hell yeah why not. I started in November doing one show a week every Wednesday night at 7pm eastern standard time here in the USA. The name of the show is BLASPHEMOUS PLAGUES OF HELL METAL SHOW. 5.When did you first become interested in doing a radio show? Is this your first radio show or have you done others in the past?

I never thought of doing a radio show in the past because I had no connections in the field until now. Yes this is my first time ever doing a radio show.

6.What do you feel is the easiest and hardest part of doing a radio show?

Doing the show is pretty easy. Well easier than I thought it would be and France The Planet helped me learn how to use the program to do the show. Eternal Hails to France The Planet for all his help and support. The hardest part of doing the show is trying to pronounce the band names and the album titles and song titles. I only speak English so trying to pronounce all other languages is very challenging.

7.How have the shows been so far and how many listeners do you usually average? What days and times does your show play?

All the shows have been brutal I play nothing but extreme underground black metal. Mostly unknown underground bands and our releases along with some of the well known bands. I average about 50 or so listeners per show which I have been told that is very good for the short amount of time I have been doing it. 10.If you had the opportunity and the time have you ever thought about starting up a Black Metal only radio station?

Now that I am doing my show I would love to start my own station but between working a 40 hour job and running my distro and doing the show I really don’t have the time to get everything that is involved to get my own station started.

11.What does Black Metal mean to you?

Black Metal is not a trend or a fad or a cult. Black Metal is a way of life.

Coming out of Connecticut's black metal scene is the new band Interment Ashes.The self titled debut contains four tracks  of raw black metal with some elements of punk in the guitar work.BP takes care of writing and crafting the music for the band.The music is done with intensity and well delievered passages that goes between mid paced patterns and a more furious and fast pace.The drums are mainly played with heavier mid tempoed drums that do speed up to a faster pace throughout a couple of the tracks.BF handles the vocals for the band and are a mix of cold,grim black metal screams,BF does add some well sung thrashy type of vocals  both of the vocal patterns are done with power.
