Deathgoat is a band that comes out of the Finnish death metal scene and this is a review of their second full length.Dragged Into Realms Below is filthy,heavy old school death metal that is heavy with a mix of crushing mid paced passages and faster more crazed passages.The guitars are played with great skill and writing ability.The guitars are insanely fast paced with some well delievered patterns.The guitarist does create some memorable passages and solo's that are played with intensity and skillful writing ability.The guitarist does slow to a more mid paced range throughout a few of the songs to give the guitars a nice mix of speeds.The drums are performed with some really fast chatic drum patterns that are done with intense playing.The drummer does slow to a heavy mid paced drums that are equally as good.Dragged Into Realms Below is a really great release full of quality old school death metal.
